College of Veterinary Medicine

Oath and Hooding Ceremony

Event Info

Join us in celebrating as The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine proudly welcomes the graduating Class of 2025 into the veterinary profession at the annual Oath and Hooding ceremony.

Surrounded by their loved ones, these new veterinarians will receive their scarlet and grey academic hoods, symbolizing their hard-earned degrees. The hood, draped around the neck and over the shoulders with the lining displayed down the back, represents the most formal aspect of academic attire.
