Ohio High School Atheltic Association State Championships
The Jerome Schottenstein Center is proud to be the home of the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships for Wrestling and Girls and Boys Basketball. The arena has been holding these state championships since 1999.In that short time, many records that have been broken including: In 1999, 74,533 people from all over the state of Ohio come the arena to watch 3 days of championship wrestling.In 2003, an amazing 197,515 watched the Boys State Basketball Championships.The three High School State Tournaments held at the Value City Arena make an estimated $13-$15 million dollars economic impact to Columbus annually.For more information about upcoming championships dates and the Ohio High School Athletic Association, visit: www.ohsaa.org
